OSV Institute is a dynamic extension of OSV that supports the mission of the organization, To Serve the Church. Here are a few of the ways we are assisting and supporting parishes, dioceses, and our partners amid COVID-19.
- Created and conducted a survey gathering information from our grantees and innovators asking the following questions:
- How is the COVID-19 virus affecting your organization and its ability to serve its mission?
- How are you responding to theCOVID-19 virus to help serve the Church and your stakeholders?
- Directly requesting and promoting ways our grantees and innovators are serving the Church during this crisis
- Donated $100,000 to support the following local organizations during this time of need:
- Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend
- Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Fort Wayne
- Saint Vincent de Paul Society of South Bend
- United Way of Huntington County
- Providing a webinar on Fundraising During a Crisis
- Allowing grantees in need to use grant money for operations or emergency need
- Sponsoring a Virtual National Theology on Tap event for Young Adults that will replace the local Theology on Tap events that youth currently cannot attend
